Marrs and Audi 3D advert I had the pleasure of pitching for the Audi le Mans adverts, Passion pictures came to me to help create a look and style for the advert whilst BBH were the advertising company that were in charge of Art Direction and the concept for a Day in in the life of an Audi LeMans driver.  Shown here are some my original scenes i created based on the dialogue of Allan McNish. At the time i created these i wasn’t thinking of how they might fit together as a moving image sequence, but more creating a set of hard hitting images that reflect the dynamic and intensity of Le Mans 24hr racing.  Luckily i was working with Chris Hemming at Passion ( Director ) who helped stitch the scenes together and turn it into something really special. I helped with the art direction at times and together both of us were keen to try and keep the mark making and hand made feel from my initial scenes. Chris had a reel feel for how these marks could work in 3D and be brought to life.  The whole Team at Passion worked so hard on this job creating it all in cgi and 3D, lots of long days and nights working to a tight deadline, the Champions League Final. I really enjoyed the time i spent up at their studio, a shame i couldn’t been a little more hands on but working remotely from down here in Hastings worked well to. Look out for it at the cinemas too, its showing at the latest Harry Potter film…in 3D of course. click on image to see the advert…… enjoy
